Job Description

Step into a rewarding role supporting student growth and development as a Registered Behavior Technician in a dynamic school environment. Based near the vibrant Vallejo area, this onsite contract position will begin in mid-September and continue through the winter break. Make an impact in the classroom by working directly with students and collaborating with educational teams to foster positive behavioral outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active RBT credential (Registered Behavior Technician)
  • National certification as a Registered Behavior Technician
  • Experience supporting children or adolescents in educational settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and student needs
  • Commitment to maintaining a positive, supportive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and school staff
  • Collect and document data on student behaviors and program progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure consistency in behavior strategies
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical standards in student interactions
  • Support students with individualized interventions to promote social, emotional, and academic success
