Qualifications & Preferred Background:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience working with children or adolescents, ideally in a school or educational setting
- Solid understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and behavior intervention strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other team members
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability in dynamic classroom environments
- Ability to collect data and implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement one-on-one and small group ABA-based behavioral interventions with students in school settings
- Observe, record, and report student behaviors, using data to help shape effective support plans
- Work alongside classroom staff and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive behavior and inclusion
- Assist with the development and delivery of social skills instruction and daily routines
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing supervision as required
- Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality regarding all student information
