Make a meaningful impact by supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a school-based setting near Tacoma, WA. In this contract position, youll work directly with students and collaborate with educators and other professionals to foster positive behavioral development and academic success.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential in good standing
- Proven experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in educational or behavioral settings
- Solid understanding of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
- Compassion, patience, and adaptability while supporting various student needs
- Ability to maintain detailed documentation and follow ethical guidelines
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavioral intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record data on student behaviors and treatment progress
- Assist in developing and reinforcing appropriate social skills and classroom behaviors
- Communicate effectively with teachers, support staff, and parents regarding progress and concerns
- Support students in both group and one-on-one settings within the school environment
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
