As an RBT, youll play an instrumental role in helping students achieve their behavioral and learning goals within a positive and inclusive educational environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician certification required
- Previous experience supporting children or students with developmental, behavioral, or learning challenges is a strong asset
- Familiarity with ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles and ability to implement behavior intervention plans
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptable, patient, and organized with strong record-keeping abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), special education staff, and classroom teachers to support student success
- Provide 1:1 behavioral therapy and reinforcement based on prescribed intervention plans
- Track and document student progress, responding to feedback and adjusting strategies as needed
- Support the integration of students into classroom routines and activities
- Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards in all interactions
