Job Description

A unique contract opportunity is available near Stamford, CT, working with a renowned Transition Program for the upcoming ESY into NSY year, beginning July 6, 2026, and running through June 15, 2027. This full-time role offers the chance to work closely with students in a supportive school environment, where your expertise will play a critical role in helping individuals achieve personal and educational goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active and valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children or adolescents (preferred)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of ABA principles and effective behavior intervention strategies
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and work as a constructive member of an interdisciplinary team
  • Dedication to ethical, student-centered practice

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Collect and record data accurately to monitor student progress
  • Work 1:1 or with small groups within the Transition Program, supporting students development of social, academic, and life skills
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, and support staff to integrate behavior interventions
  • Respond to challenging behaviors using evidence-based de-escalation and reinforcement strategies
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards at all times
