As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will work closely with teachers, support staff, and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to help students build skills and thrive academically and socially. Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential required
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with behavior intervention plans and positive behavioral supports
- Commitment to maintaining professional, ethical standards
- Flexibility to support students with various needs across K-12 grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct behavioral intervention and support based on individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support classroom and school-wide behavioral initiatives
- Collect and record data on student behaviors and progress toward behavioral goals
- Adapt support strategies to meet diverse student needs in inclusive or specialized classroom settings
- Engage in regular communication with the BCBA and other professionals involved in students care
- Foster a positive, respectful learning environment that encourages student growth
