Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Experience providing in-school ABA support preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, families, and other members of the support team
- Ability to implement behavior intervention strategies with patience and consistency
- A passion for working with children and adolescents in an educational setting
Daily Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one and small group behavioral interventions to students with diverse needs
- Collect and record data on student progress and behavior, ensuring accurate documentation
- Contribute to the development and modification of individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of BCBA and school staff
- Foster a positive, supportive relationship with students to encourage academic and social growth
- Attend meetings with educators and support staff to discuss progress and collaborate on strategies
- Communicate effectively with families, celebrating successes and partnering on goals
