Desired Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school environment.
- Solid understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with teachers, specialists, and families.
- Ability to implement behavioral intervention plans consistently and accurately.
- Flexibility to adapt to various student needs and dynamic classroom environments.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work 1:1 or in small groups with students to reinforce behavioral plans designed by supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
- Collect ongoing, accurate data on student behavior and progress.
- Implement positive reinforcement strategies and de-escalation techniques as needed.
- Collaborate with school staff and participate in relevant meetings concerning student progress.
- Maintain documentation and provide regular updates to supervisors and families.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that helps students reach their potential.
