Job Description

Make an impact with students by providing dedicated support as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in an Adaptive Behavioral Learning Environment (ABLE) program. This contract opportunity is based onsite near South Holland, IL, and spans the full school year with a consistent weekly schedule of 32.5 hours. You'll work directly with students across various grade levels and collaborate with education professionals who appreciate your expertise and commitment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active RBT certification and professional license required
  • At least 2 years of experience working as an RBT in school settings
  • Previous involvement with adaptive behavioral learning (ABLE) programs is highly preferred
  • Ability to adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one and small group behavior intervention services within the ABLE program
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA and district supervision
  • Track data and maintain detailed documentation of student progress
  • Support students' skill development in academic, social, and behavioral domains
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to enhance your skillset
