What youll need to succeed:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Experience working with school-aged children or within educational settings preferred
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Ability to build positive, supportive relationships with students and colleagues
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Adaptability and sensitivity to various student needs and backgrounds
- Professionalism, reliability, and a caring, proactive attitude
Your key responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small-group behavioral support to students based on individualized plans
- Collaborate with teachers, behavior analysts, and related service staff to implement interventions
- Collect accurate data, document student progress, and maintain records
- Model and encourage positive behavior, supporting a safe and respectful learning environment
- Communicate observations and progress regularly to team members and supervisors
- Participate in training and professional development sessions when required
