Job Description

Step into a vital role supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in an educational setting near Sequim, WA. This is a full-time, onsite contract position working within one school for the upcoming 20262027 academic year. Youll be part of a dedicated team, primarily engaging with students who require behavioral support, particularly those identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder or emotional needs.

Your expertise will be utilized as a floating RBT, providing 1:1 support across elementary, middle, or high school classrooms as needed. This adaptive approach allows you to make a direct, positive impact in the lives of students, helping them achieve greater success and independence in their school environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Experience supporting individuals with behavioral needs, particularly students with Autism or emotional support requirements
  • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to new settings and student needs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills within school teams
  • Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and ongoing growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one behavioral interventions to students in elementary, middle, or high school settings
  • Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by supervising BCBA or clinical lead
  • Collect data and document student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to reinforce positive behavior strategies
  • Remain flexible, stepping in to support different students as behavioral needs arise
