Job Description

Step into a meaningful role providing vital one-on-one behavioral support to students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This contract opportunity is ideal for RBTs eager to make a daily difference across elementary, middle, and high school environments near Scranton, PA. The position runs the full 26/27 school year, with committed onsite hours totaling 37.5 each week from August through June 2027.

As a floating RBT, you will work closely with students demonstrating behavioral needsprimarily supporting those with Autism Spectrum Disorder and those receiving Emotional Support services. Flexibility is key as you may move between different school levels to ensure students receive the intervention and attention they need to succeed.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Previous experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff
  • Ability to provide your own supervisory support
  • Compassionate, patient, and adaptable to the changing needs of students with behavioral challenges

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one behavioral interventions and coaching to assigned students
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under guidance from supervising clinicians
  • Track and document student behavior, progress, and interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and special education teams
  • Serve as a resource to support crisis prevention and de-escalation
