Job Description

Were seeking a skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work in a supportive school environment near Santa Cruz, CA. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to provide meaningful, consistent support to students, fostering growth and positive change every day.

In this role, you'll work 1:1 with a male student and assist two additional elementary-aged students in 2nd and 3rd grade. Youll closely collaborate with educational staff to implement individualized behavior intervention plans in a nurturing and inclusive elementary school setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Experience providing ABA services in a school or similar setting preferred
  • Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Calm, patient, and adaptable approach to challenging behaviors
  • Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to student success

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy and behavioral support to assigned students
  • Assist classroom teachers with behavior management strategies
  • Track progress, collect data, and document daily student performance
  • Support two additional students in group and individual settings
  • Foster a positive, engaging learning environment
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educational and clinical professionals
