Job Description
A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is needed for a school setting in San Mateo, CA to support students across various grade levels, from 1st through 12th grade. This contract position offers the opportunity to work one-on-one with students, providing behavioral support and interventions tailored to individual needs.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Work closely with students from 1st to 12th grade to support positive behavior and learning.
- Provide one-on-one behavioral support to students requiring individualized assistance.
- Collect and record data on student progress and behavior.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school staff to support student goals.
- Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Experience working with students in elementary, middle, or high school grade levels.
- Ability to follow detailed behavior plans and collect data accurately.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, reliability, and a genuine interest in supporting students' educational and behavioral growth.
