Job Description

Work hands-on making a positive difference in students lives as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This contract opportunity places you within a supportive school environment, working 1:1 with students in grades 1 through 12 to foster their growth and help them achieve their academic and behavioral goals.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active RBT certification required
• Experience working in a school setting or with children in educational environments
• Comfortable providing direct, 1:1 ABA therapy and behavior interventions at elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to implement behavior intervention plans and document progress
• High level of patience, empathy, and adaptability in dynamic classroom situations

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 support and ABA strategies to students in grades 1-12 under the supervision of a BCBA or special education team
• Collect and record data on student behaviors and responses to interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to reinforce positive behavior supports and facilitate student success
• Assist students in achieving individualized education program (IEP) goals within the classroom and school environment
• Help students develop functional, academic, communication, and social skills appropriate for their grade level
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development as required
