Desired qualifications and experience:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience working in school settings or with K-12 populations
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Ability to provide direct 1:1 behavioral interventions for students
- Skilled in data collection and progress monitoring
- Demonstrated teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Flexible and organized, with the capacity to work in diverse, fast-paced environments
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized behavioral and academic support for students in grades 1-12
- Implement ABA strategies designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA)
- Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and school staff to support IEP and behavior plan goals
- Monitor students progress and document data with accuracy
- Encourage positive social, emotional, and learning behaviors in a compassionate manner
- Model patience and consistency while helping students meet developmental milestones
- Adapt support strategies to meet the unique needs of each student
