Registered Behavior Technician Opportunity

A school district in the San Diego area is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician to join their team for a full-time, school-year assignment. This is a great opportunity for an RBT who is passionate about supporting students with behavioral and developmental needs in an educational setting.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the direction of the educational team
- Provide one-on-one and small-group behavioral support to students
- Collect and document behavioral and academic data accurately
- Assist students with skill acquisition, social development, and classroom engagement
- Support students in achieving individualized behavioral and educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
- Maintain professional communication with school personnel and families as appropriate
- Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification required
- Must be authorized to work as an RBT in the state of California
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents preferred
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices
- Ability to follow behavior plans and collect accurate data
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a school setting
