Key Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents in schools or similar environments is highly valued
- Strong understanding of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Deep sense of empathy, patience, and dedication to student success
- Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and data collection protocols
Core Responsibilities:
- Support students with special needs in classroom and/or individual settings
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collect and accurately document behavioral data daily
- Use proactive strategies to encourage positive behaviors and foster learning
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, school staff, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions as required
- Maintain professional and ethical standards that reflect the schools mission and goals
