Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Prior experience working in K-12 school settings highly preferred
- Skilled at providing 1:1 support and implementing behavior intervention plans
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educators and families
- Adaptability to work with students across various grade levels and developmental needs
- A compassionate, patient approach, and a genuine commitment to student progress
Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and behavior analysts to carry out individualized behavioral strategies for assigned students
- Provide consistent, evidence-based interventions to address behavior challenges and encourage positive behaviors
- Accurately collect and maintain data on student progress, reporting findings to relevant stakeholders
- Encourage social, academic, and emotional growth in students through tailored support
- Participate in meetings, professional development activities, and contribute to student planning as needed
- Foster a safe and supportive learning environment, always advocating for students best interests
