Looking for an opportunity where your expertise as a Registered Behavior Technician can make an immediate impact in a school environment? This contract role offers a chance to support students in a dynamic, rewarding setting near Redwood City, CA. In this role, youll provide direct 1:1 assistance to a male student and also lend your skills to two additional students in 2nd and 3rd grade. Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential required
- Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educational staff, families, and other specialists
- Adaptable, patient, and passionate about making a positive impact for students with behavioral needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 behavioral support to a male student, following prescribed behavior intervention plans
- Offer additional support to two students in 2nd and 3rd grade as directed by school staff
- Collect data on behavioral goals and student progress regularly
- Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers to ensure a team-based approach
- Utilize evidence-based interventions, confidentiality, and professional ethics at all times
Position Details:
- Contract position starting as soon as possible, with coverage through June 3, 2026, and potential for the next school year
- Full-time hours, Monday through Friday, 8:15am 2:45pm
- Located at a single school site for consistency and stability
