Job Description

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active RBT certification in good standing
  • Experience working in schools or with children/adolescents on the autism spectrum or with behavioral needs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to implement behavior intervention plans with consistency and care
  • Capacity to collect and accurately document data related to student progress
  • Team-oriented mindset with flexibility and adaptability to changing needs

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out individualized behavior intervention strategies under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Work directly with students one-on-one or in small groups to develop social, behavioral, and academic skills
  • Maintain detailed, objective notes and records of student behaviors and interventions
  • Participate in team meetings to review progress and make recommendations
  • Communicate regularly with supervisors, teachers, and caregivers to coordinate efforts and ensure student success
  • Support the schools vision for a safe and respectful atmosphere where all students are valued
