Schedule: Full-Time, 32.5 hours per week

Job Overview
Sunbelt Staffing is hiring three Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support middle school students in the Providence Public School District. This position focuses on providing classroom-wide behavioral support and assisting in reducing high-risk behaviors to maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
Please note: There is no guarantee of ESY or NSY renewal at this time.
Key Responsibilities
Provide whole-class behavioral support within a middle school setting
Implement behavior intervention strategies under the direction of school teams and BCBAs
Support students exhibiting behaviors such as:
Elopement
Wandering hallways
Physical or verbal aggression
Assist with de-escalation and proactive behavior management techniques
Track and document behavioral data accurately
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff
Promote positive behavioral outcomes and classroom engagement
Qualifications
Certification: Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
Experience: Minimum of 1+ year of behavioral support experience (middle or high school preferred)
Preferred: Candidates with a completed National BCI for immediate onboarding
Strong communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills
Ability to remain calm, consistent, and professional in challenging situations
Compensation
Bill rate: $55/hour (RFP in place; pay rate will be margin-approved)
