Job Description
Make a lasting impact in the lives of students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting schools in the Providence, RI area. This contract opportunity lets you collaborate with diverse age groups, from kindergarten through high school, providing meaningful behavioral interventions and guidance that truly matter.
Qualifications & Background:
- Current RBT certification required
- Experience working within school settings, especially elementary, middle, and high school environments
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies for students across various age groups
- Strong communication skills, fostering effective relationships with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to adapt approaches to meet individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Work one-on-one or in group settings with students in grades K-12, helping support their academic and social success
- Collect and document accurate behavioral data for ongoing assessment and plan updates
- Deliver direct support to reinforce positive behaviors and offer guidance as challenges arise
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families, ensuring continuity of care and open communication
- Contribute to a caring, respectful, and inclusive school environment
