As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or ABA Therapist, you will be working in a rewarding educational environment with students in a 1:1 setting. This is a contract position offering full-time hours37.5 per weekwith the potential for both summer and full school year assignments.

If you have experience as an RBT, even with expired or inactive licensure, your skills are valued and welcomed. Qualified candidates must be open to obtaining a Rhode Island Temporary Authorization (TA) certificate.

What Were Looking For:

• Previous experience working as a Registered Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, or RBT (expired or inactive licensure accepted)
• Familiarity with individualized behavioral intervention strategies in a school or similar setting
• Commitment to securing a Rhode Island TA certification before starting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students
• Comfortable working on a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week)
• Flexible and collaborative attitude, open to contributing during both the school year and summer

Role Overview:

• Provide direct 1:1 behavioral intervention and support to students according to individualized plans
• Implement evidence-based ABA strategies as outlined by supervising clinicians
• Collect accurate data on student progress and collaborate with the schools multidisciplinary team
• Assist with daily activities, communication, and social skills development for assigned students
• Maintain a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment
