Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current RBT certification required, with knowledge of evidence-based behavioral interventions
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or therapeutic settings
  • Understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to partner effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to foster student growth and positive behaviors

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one or small group behavioral support for students in grades K-12
  • Implement functional behavior assessments, collect data, and contribute to ongoing progress reports
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and special education professionals to adapt strategies to each students needs
  • Reinforce positive behavior and social skills through evidence-based practices
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment where all students can learn and thrive
  • Participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities as needed
