Job Description
A school district in Port Angeles, Washington is seeking a qualified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a fulltime, schoolbased contract. This position supports K12 students receiving behavioral services by implementing individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA or other qualified professional. Candidates who are patient, dependable, and passionate about student growth are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies as written
- Provide 1:1 or smallgroup behavioral support to students
- Collect and document behavioral data accurately and consistently
- Support skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and socialemotional development
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and supervising clinicians
- Assist with classroom support and behavior management strategies
- Maintain compliance with ethical standards, district policies, and supervision requirements
Qualifications
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Ability to pass background checks, fingerprinting, and district clearances
- Certification support may be available for eligible candidates
Education
- High school diploma or higher required
- Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field preferred
Experience
- Previous experience working with children or in a school or behavioral setting preferred
- New RBTs with appropriate certification are encouraged to apply
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow behavior plans with consistency and attention to detail
- Strong data collection and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Work Hours
- MondayFriday
- Schoolday schedule
- Approximately 3740 hours per week
