Job Description
Empower students to reach their full potential by providing dedicated behavioral support in a vibrant school environment near Port Angeles, WA. As a full-time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by working one-on-one with students who benefit from additional behavioral guidance and support. In this onsite, contract-based role, you'll collaborate with a supportive educational team across a single school campus and serve as a floating RBT, primarily assisting Autistic students and those who require emotional support.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or behavioral health settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to varying classroom environments and student needs
- Compassionate, patient, and resilient mindset
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one behavioral interventions and support to students in elementary, middle, or high school settings
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs), collaborating closely with teachers and specialists
- Use evidence-based strategies to address behavior, reinforce positive actions, and support student growth
- Collect and record behavioral data to inform progress and adjustments
- Adapt to diverse student needs, acting as a flexible resource for school staff
- Foster an inclusive, engaging, and safe classroom climate
