Make a meaningful impact supporting young learners as a professional in an autism program serving preschool and kindergarten students. This contract opportunity runs from ASAP through June 2027 and offers a fulfilling chance to contribute valuable expertise as an ABA Therapist or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a supportive educational environment. Candidates should have prior experience with ABA therapy or be a certified RBT, alongside meeting educational requirements of 48 college credits, a para certification, or an RBT certification.
Key Qualifications:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, para certification, or 48 college credits required
- Previous hands-on experience using ABA therapy or working as an RBT, especially in school settings
- Experience serving young children with autism strongly preferred
- Ability to adapt strategies to meet individual student needs
- Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
Responsibilities:
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with preschool and kindergarten students in an autism program
- Implement ABA therapy plans under the direction of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collect data and track student progress towards individualized goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and related service providers to support student success
- Provide compassionate support while promoting functional independence and life skills
