This opportunity seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide specialized behavioral support within a school setting in Pittsburg, CA. The role involves working one-on-one with students ranging from 1st through 12th grade, including specialized attention to individual student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement applied behavior analysis (ABA) interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Work 1:1 with students to support academic and behavioral goals across various grade levels from elementary to high school.
- Collect data on student progress and adjust behavior plans as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to enhance each students educational experience.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Experience working with school-age children, preferably spanning a range of grades.
- Ability to manage behavioral interventions effectively in a classroom or similar environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
