Job Description

Make a meaningful impact by supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician in a dynamic school setting. In this full-time contract opportunity, youll work 1:1 with a male student and provide valuable assistance to two additional students in 2nd and 3rd grade. Bring your expertise in behavior intervention to a supportive educational community that appreciates dedication and compassion. The assignment runs from ASAP through early June 2026, with the potential to continue into the next school year. This is an excellent chance to work school hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:15am to 2:45pm.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
  • Previous experience supporting school-aged children with behavioral needs
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt strategies to individual student needs
  • Compassionate and patient approach to student support

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 behavioral support to a designated student in a classroom environment
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure student success
  • Assist two additional studentsone each in 2nd and 3rd gradewith behavior interventions
  • Collect and record data on student behaviors and progress toward goals
  • Participate in team meetings to review student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere that promotes learning and growth
