This opportunity seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with Rhode Island certification to provide specialized behavioral support within a school setting. This contract role is based in Pawtucket, RI, and focuses on implementing behavior intervention plans to assist students who require behavioral support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized behavioral interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Collect accurate data on student behavior and progress.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to promote positive behavioral outcomes.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards in line with RBT certification guidelines.
- Assist in developing and adjusting intervention plans based on ongoing assessments.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Rhode Island RBT certification is required.
- Experience working with children in educational or therapeutic environments.
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism.
