Job Description
Seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students in a school setting located in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. This contract position offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in behavior analysis to positively impact the educational and social development of children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect data on student behavior and progress to guide treatment decisions
- Assist students in developing social, communication, and self-help skills
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to ensure consistent, effective support for each student
- Maintain compliance with all relevant ethical standards and documentation requirements
Qualifications:
- Valid Rhode Island Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required
- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder in an educational setting preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
