Seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support behavioral interventions in a school setting located in Pawtucket, RI. This contract position offers the opportunity to apply your specialized skills in behavior analysis to make a meaningful impact on students' learning and development within an educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Rhode Island RBT certification is required
- Experience implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Strong understanding of behavior principles and data collection methodologies
- Ability to engage effectively with students, families, and educational teams
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one behavioral interventions in alignment with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collect accurate and timely data to track student progress
- Collaborate closely with BCBAs, teachers, and other support staff to ensure consistency of support
- Maintain compliance with state regulations and ethical guidelines related to behavior interventions
- Support positive behavioral development and promote skill acquisition for students with varying needs
