As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will collaborate with educators and other professionals to implement individualized behavior intervention plans, support students growth, and foster an inclusive classroom community. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid and current RBT certification
  • Experience providing behavioral therapy or working with children and adolescents preferred
  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collect, record, and summarize behavioral data accurately
  • Collaborative attitude and adaptability to a school setting
  • Background check and relevant clearances required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with students to implement behavior support plans as directed by Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) or school specialists
  • Collect and record data on student progress and behavior
  • Assist in the development of behavioral intervention strategies within the classroom
  • Provide support and encouragement to students to improve social, adaptive, and academic skills
  • Collaborate with teaching staff, related service providers, and families to reinforce positive behaviors
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development as needed
