In this contract-based position, youll work closely with educators and other professionals to support children with varying developmental and behavioral needs, helping them thrive within a supportive school environment.
Your background working with children in educational or therapeutic settings, and hands-on experience as a Registered Behavior Technician, will allow you to impact students growth and success directly.
What you'll bring:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Prior experience working as an RBT or Paraprofessional, ideally in school or pediatric settings
- Knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and an understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Compassion, patience, and adaptability when supporting diverse student needs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting sessions and progress
What you'll do:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts and school staff
- Assist students in achieving academic, social, and behavioral goals within both classroom and one-on-one settings
- Track and document student progress, noting successes and areas where further support is needed
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and parents to foster a positive learning environment
- Redirect challenging behaviors and reinforce positive skill acquisition through ABA techniques
