Job Description
Support students developmental and behavioral needs as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a dynamic school setting serving a diverse range of grade levels from 1st through 12th grade. This role offers the rewarding opportunity to provide one-on-one assistance tailored to individual student goals, helping them build essential skills and improve educational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Provide direct one-on-one support to students across various grade levels, including elementary, middle, and high school.
- Collect and record data on student behavior and progress to assist with ongoing assessments.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to promote consistency in behavioral approaches.
- Support social, emotional, and academic development aligned with individualized education plans (IEPs).
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Experience working with students in grades 1 through 12.
- Ability to effectively follow treatment protocols and use behavior data collection systems.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Patience, empathy, and dedication to supporting students with diverse needs.
- Prior experience in educational environments preferred.
