Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician certification required
- Previous hands-on experience supporting students in Grades K-12, especially those with behavioral or developmental needs
- Demonstrated knowledge of ABA principles and techniques in an educational setting
- Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive approach to working with diverse student populations
- Strong communication skills for effective partnerships with teachers, staff, and families
- Robust documentation and data collection capabilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one and small group behavioral interventions within elementary, middle, and high school classrooms
- Work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and teachers to implement individualized treatment plans
- Collect and document student data to assess progress and inform ongoing strategies
- Support students with behavioral challenges, helping reinforce positive actions and appropriate classroom conduct
- Participate in team meetings, IEPs, and staff collaborations to ensure each child receives the support they need
- Adapt to various grade levels and learning environments, providing consistency for students throughout the school day
