Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract position supporting elementary-aged students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within an autism program near Newark, DE! This full-time opportunity spans from now through February 2027, with assignments at Marbrook Elementary (nowSeptember) and Baltz Elementary (SeptemberFebruary). As an integral part of a collaborative school team, youll play a direct role in shaping positive educational outcomes for students who benefit from focused behavioral support.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification (required)
  • Active Delaware PARA Permit (required)
  • Strongly prefer prior school-based experience, especially with elementary students
  • Proven experience with physical intervention strategies when appropriate
  • Proficient in collecting and documenting behavioral and instructional data
  • Willingness to perform bathroom and hygiene tasks, including toileting and diapering

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support students within the autism program, implementing individualized behavioral interventions and instructional supports
  • Accurately collect and maintain classroom behavioral and instructional data
  • Assist with physical intervention strategies as needed, maintaining safety and professionalism
  • Fulfill bathroom duties, including toileting and hygiene assistance, as an essential aspect of the role
  • Flexibly assist in different classroom settings as needs arise
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to foster a positive and productive learning environment
  • Adhere to a consistent, full-time schedule (8:45 AM 4:15 PM), with no late start or early departure
