Job Description
A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support elementary students in a school-based setting near Newark, DE. This position is onsite and spans the remainder of the current academic year, an extended summer program, and the upcoming 20262027 school year for the right candidate.
Key Qualifications:
- Active RBT certification is a must
- Demonstrated school-based experience as an RBT
- Background in pediatric or elementary school environments
- Reliable, consistent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work onsite full-time throughout the year and summer
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans for elementary students
- Collect and record data to monitor student progress
- Work closely with special education staff, teachers, and BCBA to support student success
- Model positive behavioral supports for students and staff
- Provide direct support during instructional and non-instructional times
- Participate in professional development days prior to and during the summer program
School Year & Summer Schedule Details:
- Current school year: Start ASAP, working through June 12, 2026
- Summer program: Professional development on June 23 & 24 (7.5 hours/day)
- In-service: July 6August 6, Monday through Thursday (5.5 hours/day, 22 hours/week)
