School-Based Paraprofessional & Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Opportunities in New Milford, CT for 26/27 School Year
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking dedicated Paraprofessionals and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for full-time school-based opportunities in the New Milford, Connecticut area. Responsibilities
- Provide direct student support in classroom and educational settings
- Assist with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals
- Implement behavior intervention strategies under the guidance of educational teams
- Support students with daily learning activities and classroom participation
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, therapists, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes as required
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications
Paraprofessional Requirements
- Connecticut ParaPro certification preferred or
- Bachelor's degree
RBT Requirements
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Preferred Experience
- Previous experience working in schools, special education, ABA, or behavioral support settings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for helping students achieve educational and behavioral success
