Step into an exciting opportunity supporting young learners in an autism program for preschool and kindergarten students. As a critical member of a compassionate educational team, you will help create a supportive and encouraging environment, making a lasting impact on students' daily progress and growth. This contracted role runs from ASAP through June 2027, providing valuable experience and professional development within a dedicated school setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Current RBT certification, or ABA training, or extensive RBT experience
- Completion of at least 48 college credits, or possession of a paraprofessional certificate, or RBT certification
- Previous work with students with autism or similar populations preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic classroom environment and contribute positively to multi-disciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies under supervision
- Work directly with preschool and kindergarten children, supporting their individual behavior intervention plans
- Assist with data collection and documentation to track students progress
- Foster social, emotional, and academic development through evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to promote consistency and generalization of skills
- Help manage classroom routines and support students in group and individual activities
