Step into an impactful contract opportunity working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting students in the school setting. This full-time role places you alongside a dedicated educational team near Mountain View, CA. Your primary focus will be working 1:1 with a male student, while also providing support to two additional students in 2nd and 3rd grade. As a vital member of the learning environment, youll assist in implementing behavior intervention plans and supporting students growth and success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active RBT certification required
- Experience within a school environment or working with children strongly preferred
- Ability to deliver evidence-based behavioral interventions in 1:1 and small group settings
- Knowledge of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles
- Skills in collaboration, communication, and adaptability
- Reliability and a strong sense of professionalism
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct 1:1 behavioral support to a male student throughout the school day
- Assist two additional students in 2nd and 3rd grade as needed
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of school specialists
- Collect accurate data on student behaviors and progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to foster a positive learning environment
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP discussions when appropriate
This is a full-time contract position, Monday through Friday, 8:15am-2:45pm, with immediate start through June 3, 2026, and the possibility of extending into the next school year. Youll work at a single school, making it easy to develop rapport and continuity with the students and staff you support.
