Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Experience supporting children or adolescents with autism spectrum disorders or related behavioral/learning needs
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices
- Proficient in implementing individualized behavior intervention plans
- Ability to collect, record, and analyze behavioral data accurately
- Collaborative mindset, with excellent communication skills to engage students, teachers, and families
- Adaptable and compassionate approach in diverse classroom situations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver dedicated 1:1 behavioral services to assigned student(s) in resource and self-contained classrooms
- Implement ABA-based intervention and support plans as prescribed by a supervising BCBA
- Observe and document student behaviors, progress, and interventions daily
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to adjust strategies and celebrate student growth
- Support general student well-being and classroom management efforts
- Uphold confidentiality and maintain high ethical standards in all interactions
