Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential required
- Experience working with children or young people, preferably in a school or educational setting
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and supervisory staff
- Ability to collect data, follow detailed treatment protocols, and adapt support strategies as needed
- Compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to meeting diverse student needs
- Reliable and proactive attitude with strong organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one or small group behavioral interventions to students under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Accurately record and report data on student progress and behavior
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Support implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and functional behavior assessments (FBAs)
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training sessions to stay informed on best practices
- Foster a safe, welcoming, and productive learning environment for all students
