Job Description
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of children as a Registered Behavior Technician during the 20262027 school yearand beyond. This contract opportunity is for an experienced, certified RBT to provide direct behavioral support in an elementary school environment, working onsite with young learners. This role covers the remainder of the current academic year, includes a comprehensive summer enrichment program, and may continue into the next school year, offering stability and valuable hands-on experience.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required
- Prior school-based RBT experience
- Strong background working with pediatric or elementary student populations
- Ability to commit to a full-time, onsite schedule
- Reliable transportation to and from the school site
Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group behavioral interventions under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Implement and document individualized treatment plans for students with diverse needs
- Support teachers and school teams by modeling best behavioral practices and offering constructive feedback
- Track progress through data collection and ongoing communication with the multidisciplinary support team
- Contribute to a collaborative, student-centered school culture and help foster positive learning environments
- Attend and actively participate in scheduled professional development and in-service training days
