As a key support for classroom teachers and staff, youll utilize your expertise in behavioral interventions to help students reach their full potential in both academic and social settings. Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current RBT certification required
- Previous experience working with children, especially in a school or pediatric setting
- Solid understanding of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles and techniques
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt approaches to meet individual student needs
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented
- Background clearance as required by the school district
Core Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collect and report behavioral data accurately and timely
- Work directly with students to provide positive, consistent behavioral support
- Assist teachers and staff with strategies for managing classroom behaviors
- Participate in relevant team meetings and contribute progress updates
- Maintain open, professional communication with teachers, staff, and families
- Support the overall emotional and behavioral well-being of students
