Desired Qualifications:
- Active and valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents in school or clinical environments
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and implementation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with students, families, and staff
- Ability to maintain accurate data and documentation in compliance with program standards
- Organized, dependable, and adaptable to varying student needs and classroom environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group behavior support to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate daily with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), special education teachers, and general education staff
- Collect, monitor, and record student progress and behavioral data using established protocols
- Implement evidence-based strategies and interventions under supervision, adjusting approaches as directed to support optimal student outcomes
- Support classroom instructions and transitions to help students engage appropriately in academic and social activities
- Communicate regularly with teams and contribute to ongoing planning for student success
