Job Description
Make an impact supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)! In this contract position, youll work closely with educators and specialists to provide crucial behavioral interventions in an engaging school setting. Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and their application in classroom environments
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and collect data accurately
- Flexibility, patience, and a commitment to nurturing student success
Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention strategies in classroom or small group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, BCBA supervisors, and other educational specialists
- Monitor student progress, record data, and provide feedback on interventions
- Support teachers and school staff with strategies for managing challenging behaviors
- Utilize evidence-based techniques to reinforce positive behaviors and social skills
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all student interactions
