Job Description

Make an impact supporting an elementary-aged student with autism as a long-term substitute ABA therapist or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This contract position, located near Hyde Park, offers full-time hours running Monday through Friday and will extend through the remainder of the school year and summer. You'll focus on providing 1:1 support in a sub-separate classroom, using your skills and empathy to help the student succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or ABA Therapist required
  • Proven experience working with elementary-aged children, especially those on the autism spectrum
  • Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
  • Ability to follow IEPs and collaborate effectively with teaching and therapy teams
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Compassion, patience, and commitment to supporting student growth

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized ABA therapy and behavior interventions to a single elementary student in a dedicated classroom
  • Document student progress, collect data, and adapt strategies as needed
  • Implement behavioral support plans under the guidance of supervising clinicians
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for student learning
  • Communicate regularly with educators, families, and support staff to ensure coordinated care
  • Support the student's academic, social, and emotional development throughout the school year and summer session
