Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) School-Based

Location: near Luzerne, PA
Setting: School-Based
Schedule: Full-Time | School Hours
Position Type: Contract / School-Based

We are currently seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support a student in a school setting in the Luzerne, PA area. This is a great opportunity for an RBT who enjoys working with students and wants to make a meaningful impact in an educational environment. Must be flexible with caseload - likely to be middle or high school student. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 behavioral support to a student throughout the school day
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the direction of a BCBA
  • Support positive behaviors, communication, social skills, and classroom participation
  • Collect and document behavioral data
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and clinical team members
  • Help create a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment

Qualifications:

  • Current RBT certification required
  • Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a school team
  • Strong communication, patience, and a passion for helping students succeed
  • Must meet applicable Pennsylvania school and background-clearance requirements
