An opportunity is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students in a school setting located in Louisville, KY. This contract position involves working closely with behavior specialists and educators to implement individualized behavior intervention plans and provide evidence-based behavioral support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to students as outlined in their treatment plans
- Collect data on student performance and progress to help inform adjustments to intervention strategies
- Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), teachers, and other school staff to support students educational goals
- Maintain professional and ethical standards in compliance with RBT guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience in school-based behavioral support or similar educational settings preferred
- Ability to follow detailed behavior intervention plans accurately and reliably
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary school team
