Job Summary
A school district in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a fulltime, onsite contract. The RBT will provide direct behavioral support to students receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services under the supervision of a BCBA or licensed professional. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about supporting students with behavioral and developmental needs.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and ABA programs as written
- Provide 1:1 or smallgroup behavioral support to students
- Collect and record behavioral data accurately and consistently
- Assist with behavior reduction and skill acquisition programs
- Support students with communication, social, and selfregulation skills
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and supervising clinicians
- Maintain compliance with ethical standards and district policies
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- High school diploma or higher (Associates or Bachelors preferred)
- Ability to pass background checks and fingerprinting
- Schoolbased or pediatric experience preferred (training may be provided)
